Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

  • Newsletter signup: first name, email address, timestamp, IP address (used by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse).
  • Server logs: request metadata (referrer, user agent, timestamp), retained for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

3. Purposes & legal bases

  • Newsletter delivery. Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Consent is collected via an unticked checkbox on the form and confirmed via a one-click email (double opt-in).
  • Spam and abuse prevention. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in keeping the form functional and the audience clean).
  • Service operation. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for hosting and infrastructure logs.

4. Processors

We share data with the following processors under appropriate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and, where relevant, EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers:

  • HighLevel, Inc. (GoHighLevel), USA. CRM and email delivery for the newsletter.
  • Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Turnstile bot-prevention widget on the signup form.
  • Vercel, Inc., USA. Site hosting and edge delivery.

5. Retention

Newsletter records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. After unsubscribing, your record is kept on a suppression list for 30 days, then deleted (the suppression entry remains so we do not accidentally re-add you). Server logs are retained for 30 days unless required longer for security incident analysis.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15).
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16).
  • Have your data deleted (Art. 17), subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restrict processing or object to processing (Art. 18, 21).
  • Data portability (Art. 20).
  • Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority for data protection.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The Cloudflare Turnstile widget on the signup form may set short-lived technical cookies necessary for its function; these are essential and not used for tracking.

8. Unsubscribe

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it removes you from the list immediately. You can also email us directly to request removal.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our processors or practices change. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email. The current version is always at this URL.
